Boys
A good showing for the Patriot League boys at the State Qualifier Meet at C-NS. Our League took four events and should have a good chance at some podium finishes at the State Championship Meet next weekend.
Braden Taylor of Port Byron took the 110HH in 15.05, continuing his outstanding season in that event. Not to be outdone, Lucas Stone of Fabius-Pompey captured the 800m in 1:58.68. Matthew Plyter of Pulaski won the High Jump, clearing 6' 3". The Cato-Meridian 1600 meter relay team rounded out the champions, as Lucas Dorgan, Chris Morency, Landon Gillmore, and Alexander Schutt ran a new school record 3:27.87, with Schutt clocking a 49.71 anchor leg to secure the win.
Schutt added a third place in the 400m (52.36), the Blue Devils 3200 meter relay team ran 8:30.95 for fourth (Everett Cox, Andrew Bonanno, Lucas Conklin, and Liam Mantell) and the 400 meter relay team of Miles Muhlnickel, Micah Muhlnickel, William Brathen and Liam Ae was fifth in 46.40
