NYSPHSAA Championship (full results at loeonetiming.com)
Despite some weather issues Sunday, a good showing overall for the Patriot League representatives, including a new entry on the State Champion list
The Pulaski 400 meter relay team achieved their goal after a runner up finish last year (with some circumstances that were out of their control) as Megan Dailey, Kendall Dye, Kylie Dye, and Vanessa Trumble won by just over a second in a new school and League Record time of 48.59. Megan also finished on the podium in the Long Jump with a fifth place finish (18' 10.75", tying her League Record). Grace Carguello took fourth in the Steeplechase (7:05.57), and Vanessa Trumble was third in the High Jump (5' 3"). Vanessa, Kylie, and Kendall round out their high school careers having never lost a dual meet, and winning the League Meet and Section 3 Team Titles all four years. Megan and Grace will return next season as early favorites to return to the State Meet in their respective events.
Anna Congelli of Tully capped off her high school career (she'll be heading to Binghamton in the fall) with a pair of podium finishes, taking third in the 800m (2:16.59) and joining Alex Dickson, Desiray Gables, and Mary Adams to take fourth in the 3200 meter relay (9:29.48).

Myah Keenan of Fabius-Pompey finished just behind Grace in the Steeplechase, taking fifth in 7:12.30. McKenna Johnson was ninth in the 1500 (4:49.24).
Onondaga/Lafayette had a pair of young ladies at the State Meet as well. Freshman Brielle Nels was eighth in the 100m (12.58) and eighth grader Molly Humphrey ran 10:51.62 in the 3000m. The Lady Tigers have some good young talent that should be fun to watch in the coming years.
Cato-Meridian's Maggie Brown made a return trip to the podium, finishing fourth in the Pentathlon, scoring 2881 points.
The Patriot League boys had some good performances that fell just short of the top six. Braden Taylor of Port Byron took seventh in the 110HH (15.76).
The Cato-Meridian 1600. meter relay team placed twelfth as Lucas Dorgan, Chris Morency, Landon Gilmore and Alexander Schutt ran 3:28.81.
Lucas Stone of Fabius-Pompey ran 2:00.81 in the 800m.
Matthew Plyter of Pulaski tied for fifth in the High Jump at 6' 1".
